Rotating Shaft Telemetry
Rotating shaft telemetry systems are custom-designed by IR Telemetrics, the telemetry leader in the transfer of data from internal rotating shafts. Real time steady state and transient wireless data transfer from shafts and other components operating in a production environment is the specialty of IR Telemetrics. Rotating shaft data is recorded and transmitted using patented telemetry technology designed by IR Telemetrics. Telemetry measurement on rotating shafts is inherently difficult because of harsh operating environments, such as internal combustion engines and automotive transmissions.
Telemetry of rotating shafts is accomplished through infrared and microwave telemetry systems. These telemetry systems provide your development engineers with operating measurement of parameters and data collection on rotating shafts that was previously unavailable for a wide variety of industry applications. Whether your measurements of rotating shafts require single or multiple channel data transfer, IR Telemetrics can provide you with a state of the art telemetry system to meet your rotating shaft measurement needs.
IR Telemetrics develops leading edge rotating shaft technology. All of our telemetry devices are custom built to fit our customers’ package requirements. Rotating shaft measurments use two types of wireless transmitters: optical data coupling or inductive data coupling. Rotating shaft telemetry systems are custom built by IR Telemetrics to provide you with a system that is flexible enough to meet your needs.
